MIDDLE & HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH
We invite you to join a wonderfully accepting, genuine, outward-focused community that points students towards a God of grace and abundance– towards a God who meets students wherever they are in order to reveal his unconditional love for them and all people. Youth are invited to connect in a real, dynamic, and vibrant ministry at Bethany Lutheran Church through small groups, musical groups, service opportunities, bible studies, and fellowship.
Confirmation at Bethany continues the life long journey of faith in families. Confirmation, or affirming one’s baptism, highlights how we live out the baptismal promises in our daily life. Parents are a vital part of their child’s faith journey, and so they are vital to our confirmation ministry at Bethany. We gather for learning together as families on Sundays from 9:30-10:15 a.m. using a large group/small group model. Our three year scope and sequence is “Faith in Daily Life,” Small Catechism, and Bible. The 2018-19 year will focus on Small Catechism.
